March 2011: Interviews3D Composer Suite – V3 released:
3DInteractive GmbH announces the release of its new Interviews3D Composer Suite, allowing users to interactively simulate and explore even the largest CAD models and laser scans (up to several billion points and polygons in real time). With Interviews3D Composer you can import CAD data from any major source format and compose differently formatted models into large projects. A modular system architecture with a new, intuitive user interface supports configurable multi-view, multi-database display, visual editing and numerous interactive functions. The application can overlay laser and CAD data, measure deviations between specification and physical model, perform clash analysis, document and report changes, etc.
November 2010: VGR - Version 3 Released
A major update of 3DInteractive’s core visualization and interaction technology, VGR - Version 3, has just been released. OEM-partners participating in 3DInteractive’s premium partnership program are receiving the new release as part of the maintenance and support contract. This is our first major update since 2007. The VGR library comes with major performance improvements and new features: It enables handling of massive laser scans, and supports real time interactive manipulations, configurable render effects, and much more. A new version of Interviews3D Composer Suite, an interactive digital mock-up application, based on VGR, will be introduced soon – Stay tuned!
April 20-24, 2009: New DMU Composer presented at Hannover Industry Fair
3DInteractive’s new DMU Composer is presented at the booth of the Automation ML Organization (Hall 17 / C60) by partner company NetAllied Systems. The presentation shows real-time visualization of a complete factory hall with robot animation and demonstrates compatibility with the AutomationML data exchange format, the upcoming standard of the digital factory.

3DInteractive’s out-of-core technology has already become a premier tool for factory planning, engineering and simulation in the Automobile and Aerospace Industry. Interviews3D is currently the only software tool that poses no limitation on data size for visualization and simulation. Even the largest and most detailed models can be viewed in real time on standard PCs, workstations and laptops. The new DMU Composer enables smooth and efficient data import from major CAD and automation tools.
March 2009: Version 2.4 of VGR SDK
3DInteractive GmbH released Version 2.4 of its out-of-core visualization and interaction platform with major enhancements such as multi-database support and quick update.

Multiple databases can be viewed and edited simultaneously. For instance, a composition of several databases residing on different fileservers may be overlaid in one view. This further extends the limits of scenarios that can be handled interactively even beyond the boundaries of single storage devices.

The performance of the selective update function has been improved significantly by a new quick update mechanism. This way, interactive and batch updates can be accelerated by an order of magnitude.
